March 17, 2020 Primary Election

Livingston County Clerk Kristy Masching has announced that petition packets will be available in her office on Friday, August 30, 2019 for nominations in the March 17, 2020 Primary Election.  The first day in which nomination papers (petitions) may be circulated is Tuesday, September 3, 2019.  (The County Clerk’s Office will be closed in observance of the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 2, 2019.)   Petitions may be obtained through Monday, December 2, 2019.

County Offices to appear on the ballot are County Board (Twelve [12] 2-year terms and one [1] unexpired 2-year term), Circuit Clerk, Coroner, and State’s Attorney.  Precinct Committeemen will be elected at the March 2020 election.  Signature requirements will be included in the packets for each office.

The first date that petitions may be filed in the County Clerk’s Office for the aforementioned offices, is Monday, November 25, 2019 starting at 8:00 AM.  The final deadline for filing is 5:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2019.

LCMHB 50th Anniversary Open House

The first Livingston County Mental Health Board was appointed in 1969 to establish and maintain community mental health facilities and services. To celebrate their 50th Anniversary, the LCMHB is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 3-6 PM in the Health & Education Building Conference Room, located at 310 E. Torrance Avenue, Pontiac, IL.
