Special Use Conditions – Comment Period

At the June 11, 2015 meeting of the Livingston County Board, a motion was passed that authorized the Chairman of the County Board and legal counsel for the County Board to prepare draft special use conditions and prepare a draft Economic Benefits Agreement for the Pleasant Ridge Wind Energy Project, and that such documents be presented to the County Board for consideration at the County Board’s next regularly scheduled meeting, and that consideration of the application for special use for the Pleasant Ridge wind energy project, SU-7-14, be postponed until the County Board’s next regularly scheduled meeting.

Anyone who wishes to submit comments regarding suggestions for special use conditions is asked to do so in writing to the County Board Office care of Alina Hartley 112 W. Madison St., Pontiac IL or email hidden; JavaScript is required by no later than close of business on June 26th.

Scheduling Change Pleasant Ridge WECS Hearing

Because of a change in plans, no specific person is scheduled to provide testimony at the Pleasant Ridge Wind Energy hearing planned for this Thursday, January 29th 2015. Therefore, it is now being considered to allow for Mr. Luetkehans to present some of his individual clients, and for the county to go to its’ list of interested parties that have signed up to testify. The Invenergy attorney is also working on providing some of their interested citizens. Therefore, if you or someone you know may be able to take this opportunity to provide testimony. So we are making you aware that this maybe the first opportunity for you or they to have to provide testimony during this hearing process. Interested parties will also be given a time later in the hearing process to provide testimony.
