The most familiar function of the Court Services Department is providing probation supervision for adults and juveniles. In addition, this department is responsible for overseeing programs to reduce criminal activity, and determining appropriate sentencing by means of pre-sentence reports. The juvenile intake program is another important aspect of the Court Services and Probation Department. This provides and opportunity to work with juveniles through informal supervision without going through the court process.

Additional information regarding this department is available on the "Know Your County Government" page of this site.
